So happy to have found this! Such a wonderful taste. We bought some for my Dad's Christmas and he was thrilled. The taste was just what he remembered from when he popped pop corn for the FFA at his high school's basketball games. He has not cooked a single batch of popcorn without it! So glad to have found it and at such a reasonable price too! |

i use a hot air popper and just melt the coconut oil packet(s) in the microwave and add a little of the seasoning after i mix the oil in. pretty much like movie theater popcorn and definitely better than microwave popcorn or melting the dairy free butter that i was using on popcorn. |

This is the best way of getting real movie theater popcorn. I used 1/4 tsp for 1/4 cup of popcorn in my machine with coconut oil and it gives you real movie theatre popcorn taste. I also liked the fact you can buy it in smaller quantities. A little goes a long way in my machine. |

This is a very good seasoning, but don't use too much or you'll be tasting pure salt flavor. I tried too much on the first time using this because I thought it would be MORE BUTTERY flavor but the salt took over. Maybe the coconut oil would make a difference but I was using canola oil so I may try it with the coconut and see how that taste opposed to canola. Try the seasoning though because you'll really like it! |

A very little goes a long way. I use 1/4 tsp for a half cup of uncooked popcorn and sprinkle it in the pan before the popping starts. Great flavor, no butter needed! |

I use a hot air popper and the popcorn is very dry. I drizzled the heated oil over my popcorn and sprinkled he popcorn salt on it. Tastes just like at the movies only better. |

My wife and I had been looking for that special popcorn taste you get at the theaters. I sure am glad we did some research and found this stuff. We could not believe the difference it made. We used this with the coconut/butter oil and found that taste we had been looking for. Great product. |

I tried out my new oil popper, using coconut oil and this product from you, Flavacol. I had to experiment a few times to get the right ratio, but for 2 ounces (1/4 cup) of popcorn, using not quite 1/2 teaspoon of flavacol, it was PERFECT! It IS JUST like I remember at the movies! It doesn't even need butter...has a touch of butter taste! And thank you for making it cheap enough for me to buy one instead of other sites making you buy 2 or more! This will last you a long time guys. More than 1/2 teaspoon per 2 ounces of popcorn, and you must be the salt monster from the Star Trek series. :) lol |

I just received my shipment today (movie popcorn, coconut oil with butter and flavacol). I followed the directions you sent and WOW! I topped it with a bit of purified butter and crushed (muddled) salt and it was spot on to the movie theatre popcorn. Great products! My wife even said, as she walked down the stairs, "it smells like a movie theatre down here". Thank you JustPoppin. |

I found that 1 tsp per cup of kernels (8 oz.) was perfect, which is about half the recommended amount, as I recall. |

I love this flavoring. It's the perfect salt and butter flavor. It smells like a movie theater everytime we make popcorn. It's delicious! The only improvement would be to add nutritional information to the packaging. I'm guessing it's not high in fat or calories, which makes me feel better about enjoying such fantasticly buttery popcorn. |

I can make movie style popcorn at home now!!! Adding 3/4 tsp to the popcorn when you put it in the oil gives you a great tasting popcorn right off of the stove |

Great stuff used it years ago when I was assistant manager at a Holiday Inn...put popcorn machine in bar and the guests loved it....and I do too...got popcorn machine for Christmas and it is good stuff.... |

This stuff is Amazing! If you have a theater style popcorn machine, you have to buy this! It tastes just like the movies! I found too that if you use this with corn oil instead of coconut oil, you still get about 90% of the Theater taste.
I am telling everyone I know about this stuff because it is simply a must have when it comes to making Great tasting popcorn! |

Every single review that's been written about this stuff is dead on. It's salty (first ingredient is salt), and truly is that movie theater popcorn taste. I have several different popcorn seasonings that I purchased prior to finding this site, and I don't plan on buying anymore of them once they're done. |

I tried this the other night and my husband and I thought it made the popcorn too salty, I looked at the ingredients and the 1st one was salt, will try again but just not sure if we are going to like. I have high blood pressure so I have to watch my salt, he doesn't and he was the 1st one to say how salty it was.

Please note that our "recommended" amount as stated on the packaging is to get Movie Theater flavor which tends to be on the salty side. This is the real thing! We pop with an air pop machine now. Spraying a little non-stick spray on the corn then sprinkled the Flavacol on the popcorn really added a great flavor. Much better than the store bought flavor that I had been using. Order was shipped promptly with absolutely no problems. |

In addition to beta-carotene colored coconut oil,Flavacol is what makes popcorn taste like fresh movie theater popcorn. The problem is- home popping enthusiasts like me can't afford to purchase Flavacol buy the case which is how it is sold from most suppliers - in 12-2+ pound cartons.The cost of the product and shipping is outrageous. (I've checked)-AND it would get old by the time I used it all. Just Poppin fixes both problems buy making bulk purchases of Flavacol and packaging it into smaller resealable bags - thus making the cost of the product and shipping reasonable to the home consumer. I give BOTH Flavacol and Just Poppin 5 stars! |

Ever since I worked at a movie theater (long, long ago) I have been searching for this to add to my Whirely Pop popping experience. Now I can pop away, and have the taste I've always wanted.

I bought this product to use in my theater style popcorn popper. Thanks to all the reviews I have read about the popper, the oil and flavacol, I was able to buy the perfect products to make perfect theater popcorn the first time. The only adjustment I made is to use about 1/2 of the favacol recommended. Otherwise we found it too salty. Excellent product!! |

I recieved my first shipment about a week ago and of course watched the video to see how she made her popcorn. Very similiar to the way I have made it for years.
I added the oil to coat the bottom, added 3 kernels and waited for them to pop. Added in the Flavacol and the kernels and waited for the popping to start. This popcorn does pop as fast as store bought popcorn. Once the popping had stopped I poured it into a bowl and had to try it immediately. The flavacol I didnt like so much, it stuck to the bottom of the pan and didnt' care for the taste. Will need to try to use Flavacol after its popped and spinkle it on and then taste it again. |

Movie night at our house is popular among our friends. Nothing else has that distinct theater "butter" flavor like Flavacol. It brings the theater flavor to every bowl, unlike all the microwave varieties we've tried. Flavacol is the only way to go. |

My girlfriends and I go to the movies at least once a week. I bought this salt to take with us to make things easier. I am very impressed with this product!!! I remember a teacher who used to make popcorn every thursday and we could buy it for a mere 25 cents a bag.... She used this exact same stuff, and for years I had no idea where I would find it. This is the magic ingredient (one of them) that gives popcorn an authentic "theater" taste. I go through a lot of popcorn, and this size bag will last a long time (@ <1 tsp. of seasoning per 1/2 cup popcorn kernels.) Pop with coconut oil and Flavacol, & you're in popcorn heaven. :) |
