Tender Pop Hulless Popcorn Kernels   This popcorn has a very good taste especially when used with the Flavacal butter flavored coconut oil. While it has less hulls that normal store bought popcorn, it still has a great deal more hulls that Orville Redenbacher's white popcorn. virtually hulless popcorn   UPDATED 10/22/12: I felt there was a prob on my end and I think its a 4star product now. My newest attempts at focusing on the oil temp resulted in fantastic popcorn. Original Review: the hulls were actually the same as regular popcorn. My Favorite!!   So far I tried your mushroom, hulless, and sorghum popcorn. The sorghum is a lot of fun and nutty and the mushroom is nice and puffy. However, I have decided that the hulless popcorn is my all time favorite. It's light, crisp, and easy on your teeth! Also in my opinion it makes great kettle corn! We love this popcorn!   My daughter is a popcorn fanatic. When she got braces put on last summer, she mourned the loss of her precious popcorn. I heard somewhere that you could get hulless popcorn and that it was good for people with braces. I did a search and came upon this site. My daughter is in love!! She is thrilled to have her popcorn back and I am thrilled that it doesn't mess with her teeth or braces. I thought I was buying microwavable popcorn and it turns out I was wrong. However, she and the rest of the family love making it on the stove so its still win/win. My whole family enjoys it (even my son who says he doesn’t like popcorn). So much easier on the gums!   I love this Tender pop Hulless popcorn. It isn't completely hulless, but the hulls are so small they don't get stuck between my teeth and in my gums. perfect   i purchased tender pop hulless for my very picky 74 year old mother. She absolutely loves popcorn but was not able to eat it without it bothering her diverticulitis. Hulless Popcorn   How cool is this? It is sooo white! Makes it great for popcorn balls, especially since it doesn't have the hard hulls that are a pain (sometimes literally) when you bite into them. It is also great for pet birds, since hulls, or skins, are the bad part of popcorn for them.I had a great yield just using a microwave popper without oil. Great Taste!   I originally came to the site looking for mushroom popcorn and got the hulless to try for my father-in-law who suffers from diverticulitis. I was so happy to find that I liked it, too! The taste was delicious, so much so that I never used butter on the 2lbs we had. What does "virtually hulless" mean? It means that once the popcorn is popped, there will be very few of the hard shell-like pieces, hulls, that can be found in all popped corn.

There is no truly hulless popcorn or 100% hull free popcorn. Popcorn must have a hull, called the pericarp, to hold itself together and hold in the moisture that makes it possible to pop corn in the first place.
