This Kettle Corn popcorn is a varied mix of mushroom popcorn kernels and butterfly popcorn kernels. This is a traditional mix used by many Kettle Corn vendors at local Fairs around the country. It pops up crunchy with a super craggy surface that's perfect for holding the sugar and salt that makes up Kettle Corn's salty sweet flavor.

Please note that you still have to add your sugar and salt to turn these kernels into Kettle Corn. Check the tabs above for tips and recipes.

This popcorn is also great for use with our Campfire Popcorn Popper.

THIS POPCORN IS GROWN IN AMERICA'S HEARTLAND AND IS NOT GENETICALLY MODIFIED (NON-GMO).

Kettle Corn Kernals
This mixed kernel bag was okay. I actually prefer the mushroom popcorn on it's own over this mix. But it still works well for kettle corn.

Questions and Answers

Q: Can I make kettle corn with any type of popcorn kernel, or do I need to use Kettle Corn Kernels?
Asked by: Jay - 11/8/2014
A: You can use any type of popcorn to make Kettle Corn, however we usually recommend Kettle Corn Kernels or Mushroom Popcorn Kernels because the shape of the popped popcorn results in a better looking product for kettle corn. Making kettle corn involves a lot of stirring, and other types of popcorn can result in a lot of breakage, which tastes just fine, but doesn't always look good!

Q: Hello, Are these kernels? I am looking for kettle corn kernels to place in my popcorn maker. If not, do you have any suggestions?
Asked by: shannon - 11/28/2016
A: Yes, these are the popcorn kernels that you put in your popcorn maker and pop.

Please note that in order to actually make Kettle Corn you still need to either add your own sugar and salt, or you need to use our Kettle Corn Mix and have a popper with a stirring mechanism.
