Sprinkle to taste onto freshly popped popcorn. Stir or toss popcorn to coat evenly. Do not add salt.
If you air pop your popcorn, use our Popcorn Butter Spray to aid in "stickability" and help the Cheese Powder stick to the popcorn.
There are no set amounts to use since you can add as much, or as little, as you like to suit your tastes. Try starting with about 1/2 tablespoon for a full bowl of popcorn. Toss the popcorn until it's evenly coated and then taste it. If you like the taste, then 1/2 tablespoon is perfect for you. If you like it cheesier, repeat the "add cheese powder, toss, taste" process until you have the exact "cheesy-ness" that you like.
NOTE: Always use a clean spoon when serving the Cheese Powder. This prevents contamination which can cause spoilage. When stored and used correctly, the Cheese Powder will keep almost indefinitely, although our basic guideline is that it is "Best Before" 6 months from your purchase date.
HOW TO STORE:
Keep the Cheddar Cheese Powder in an airtight container in a cool, dark, and dry place (like your pantry). Because the water content has been removed, the Cheese Powder is "shelf stable" and doesn't need to be refrigerated. If you prefer to store it in the fridge, be sure it is stored in an airtight container to keep fridge smells from re-flavoring the cheese.
