How To Make Campfire Popcorn

Basic Directions

1/4 cup of kernels
1 tablespoon oil

Pour the oil in the bottom popper pan to coat (approx 1 tablespoon)
Hold the popper over fire or heat source to warm the oil
Add the kernels, close the lid and shake the popper to spread the kernels. Hold over a moderate fire. Do NOT stick in the coals.
Shake the pan popper periodically so that the same kernels aren't touching the oil the whole time. This will allow the kernels to pop more evenly with less chance of burning.
The popcorn is ready when the popping noise subsides. Remove from heat, open lid and add salt/butter to taste.

NOTE: You can expect there to always be a some un-popped kernels, because if you try to pop every last one, you'll probably burn the kernels that already popped.
